Low carb recipes can make your low carb diet a lot easier to follow. Although the Internet is a good source for low carb recipes, there are some good low carb cookbooks out there and even some magazines that have great ones too.

There are lots of places you can go to find low carb recipes. Many people prefer the Internet, but you can also find delicious low carb recipes in cookbooks and in magazines.

Sources of Low Carb Recipes

The Internet might be the most convenient way for you to find low carb recipes, and there are some good ones out there (like the ever-popular Bacon Cheeseburger Quiche--it's crustless, but still tasty). But after searching the Internet and scouring bookstores, we found that cookbooks specially made for people on low carb diets and magazines about healthy eating are the the best sources for low carb recipes. There's even one cookbook, The Low-Carb Comfort Food Cookbook, that was created by two doctors and a chef, and it has 300 low carb recipes! In addition, Taste of Home makes a magazine called Light & Tasty that has low carb recipes with 15 grams of carbs or less (and we found that many only had 8-10 grams). Of course, you can only have most of these recipes if you're past the induction phase of your low carb diet. If you only get 20 grams of carbs a day, you probably don't want to waste them all on one meal. The good thing about these recipes is you can still have delicious healthy food while watching your carbs. That will reduce the risk of getting burned out on your low carb diet.
