Low Carbs Diet
A low carbs diet is the best way for some people to lose weight. Is a low carbs diet for you, or would another plan work best?
Low Carbs Diet
When it comes to dieting, some things just work better than others for certain people. Do you know what kind of diet works best for you?
Variety is the Spice of Life
There are so many diets out there, it's often hard to determine which is "the best." But really, how well a diet works depends a lot on you. For some people, a low carbs diet is the only way they've been able to lose weight and they swear by it. But other people like their carbs too much, so they don't have as much success. People like this would be better off with a plan like Weight Watchers or NutriSystem. These plans focus on calorie counting and portion control. This gives you a wide variety of things to eat--you just don't get as much of those foods as what you ate before. You're going to have to sacrifice something on any diet, whether it's portion size or an entire food group (as is the case with a low carbs diet) or candy bars and cheeseburgers! After all, whatever you are doing now isn't working. Think about it--wouldn't you be suspicious of any diet allowing you to eat whatever you want and still lose weight? That's what you're probably doing now and it isn't working.
Then again, a claim like that is usually made by diet pills, not actual diets. Diet pills typically don't work either unless you follow the diet that comes with them. However, most people just read the dosage instructions, take the recommended dosage and expect it to work without reading about the risks or the fact that you need to follow a healthy diet (not candy bars, cheeseburgers, etc.). So they just expect the diet pills to make the pounds melt away. If it were that easy, why are so many people still so overweight?
When it comes right down to it, the best way to lose weight is by cutting your sugar intake, increasing your intake of fruits, vegetables and whole grains, and exercise.
